I am a Registered and Licensed Dietitian in addition to being a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT). My past experience includes public nutrition talks, directing onsite wellness programs and working as a clinical dietitian. Although I may be considered an “expert”, I am still learning as I go too. I have always been a picky eater and staying lean doesn’t come naturally to me. I struggle with the same issues that my clients do. I know that I learn from them at the same time they are learning from me. My goal is to take all of the information I’m gathering and share it with those struggling to stay healthy in a world that is sometimes working against us. I believe in learning how to manage our hunger hormones to manage weight, rather than relying on will power. My philosophy is if something isn’t working, well try something new! Eventually we will figure it out together. Please visit my facebook page to learn more.

People choose to see a dietitian or licensed nutritionist for a variety of reasons ranging from weight loss to meal planning to cholesterol reduction. A registered dietitian is trained in medical nutrition therapy, providing us with the skills and knowledge to treat many health conditions with diet- hypertension, irritable bowel syndrome, high cholesterol, and diabetes.
The goal is to figure out which option will be easiest to incorporate into your lifestyle and give you the best results in a healthy way!
During follow ups, I see how my clients' goals are panning out to decide whether we need to make adjustments to their routine. We all have barriers and set backs so the follow ups are meant to help identify what is working and what is not. It's also an opportunity for us to work on new areas we didn't address during the first visit:
